The project is planned to be delivered in 7 stages. The overall project has a CAPEX value of $60M. The four stages being delivered have a CAPEX value of $50M.

Babbage has provided comprehensive field investigations and environmental assessments to inform and streamline the design process. This approach not only facilitated a more efficient design process but also ensured that the project met regulatory requirements and aligns with environmental best practices.

Babbage has successfully completed the design for Stages 1 and 2, with Stage 1 construction now finished and Stage 2 currently underway. Stages 3 and 4 are actively progressing through the design phase.

Challenges

Integrating and coordinating design and construction activities with ongoing Auckland Transport works. Coordination of investigations in high density housing. Executing work within the areas of the historic tram lines.
