Waikato Pipe Bridge Design and Engineering

Babbage’s Process Services team designed and engineered a pipe bridge at the OFI site in South Waikato. The purpose of a pipe bridge is to take process pipes carrying steam, compressed air and other services from the various generation plants to the end user. Babbage’s cross-discipline team included piping designers, process, mechanical and structural engineers. Babbage Project Manager provided on site supervision and management of the contract with the chosen contractor.

PFS Engineering Ltd. carried out the successful construction of the pipe bridge and completed the works on time and to a high quality standard that will see the structure and piping last 25 years of service.
